Podiatrist – Multiple positions available :

We are currently seeking a dedicated and client-focused Podiatrists to join our team in Melbourne. Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced clinician, this is an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organisation and grow within a supportive, values-based environment.

Although based at our head office in Bundoora, this role will require you to travel to and from client homes all across Melbourne.
About the role and responsibilities:
– Perform comprehensive foot assessments to evaluate the condition of the feet, nails, skin, and circulatory health.
– Diagnose and treat common podiatric conditions, including ingrown toenails, fungal infections, plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot issues, calluses, bunions, and corns.
– Provide wound care for patients with diabetic ulcers or other foot wounds.
– Develop individualised care plans based on patient needs, and collaborate with the Allied Health Team.
– Educate patients and caregivers on foot care, injury prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
– Prescribe orthotics, footwear recommendations, and physical therapy as necessary.
– Monitor and document progress of treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including patient assessments, treatment plans and progress notes.
– Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to patient care, confidentiality, and documentation.
Who We’re Looking For:
– We welcome applications from both newly graduated and experienced Podiatrists who demonstrate a commitment to client-centered care and cultural responsiveness.
To be considered, you will need:
– A bachelor’s degree in Podiatry (or completion by the time of appointment).
– Current or eligible AHPRA registration.
– Valid Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and respect for client autonomy, privacy, and cultural values.
– For new graduates: a willingness to learn and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
– For experienced candidates: confidence in managing complex cases and mentoring others.

Occupational therapist :

Exciting opportunity for a person who is passionate about aged care, and supporting the ageing and elderly. The successful candidate will have a strong client service focus with demonstrated ability to maintain strong ethics and care.
This role involves a variety of occupational therapy services provided to SAH and CHSP clients:
• Provide holistic assessments of clients identifying Occupational Therapy needs.
• Provide Occupational Therapy planning and create care plans.
• Prescribe, coordinate, and manage the appropriate equipment and resources for clients.
• Liaise with clients, families, referees, doctors, and other allied health professions to achieve coordinated outcomes to meet client goals from a capacity building and enabling perspective.
• Provide sustainable self–management opportunities for clients.
• Encourage clients to be engaged with managing their own health.
• Provide timely reports including but not limited to client visits, client notes, client care plans and assessments.
