Ms. Diana Sterjovska – CEO
Ms Diana Sterjovska has extensive experience and involvement with not-for-profit community service sector and she presents her commitment and enthusiasm to the health and wellbeing, cultural aged care needs of multicultural and ethnic-specific communities. She manages the Macedonian Community Welfare Association for nearly two decades
She holds a Bachelor of Midwifery, Degree in Nursing, Diploma of Management and Cert IV in Training and Assessment. She has several community appointments including community advisory committee in the sector.
In 2013 was recognized with Order of Merit of Macedonia for the services to the Macedonian Community in Australia.
Ms Ljupka Arsovski – Corporate Manager
Ljupka joined the MCWA in May 2010 and since has gained extensive experience in most of the organization’s services. She is a proven academic and professional achiever and a team player who works collaboratively and effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholder
Ms Elena Petreska – Aged Care Manager
Elena has worked in the community services sector for almost a decade, with experience across multicultural organisations, peak advocacy bodies and local government. Elena has a strong focus on service system responsiveness to diverse needs, community development and capacity building. Elena is the Aged Care Manager for MCWA.
Ms Liljana Sajkarovska – Finance & HR Department Coordinator
Liljana has been with the MCWA team since September 2005 and currently holds the position as the Finance/HR Coordinator.
She has experience as an owner / operator of a successful business and has brought to MCWA strong knowledge and experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Qualifications: Diploma of Management, Certificate IV in Aged Care, Overview of Dementia, Cert IV in Training and Assessment, Payroll & Office Taxation Procedures, Manage Team Budgets, Team Leader ship, First Aid National Code (Level 2), Front Line Managment.
Ms Lila Marusevska – Access and support
Lila is the Aged Care Coordinator and Access and Support and has been with the MCWA since 2009. She has over nine years of experience in Aged Care Sector and working with children since migrated in Australia in 2005. Lila holds a Degree in Social Work and Diploma of Management. Before she migrated in Australia Lila has previous experience working as an educator on an UNICEF Project and experience working as a social worker at the Psychiatric hospital in Demir Hisar-R. Macedonia.
Lila is passionate in her work and very dedicated in everything what she does.
Mrs. NR – Special Projects Department Coordinator
Nade Ristevska has been part of the MCWA since 2012. Started as a Planned Activity Assistant within the MCWA PAG groups and quickly promoted in 2013 to Special Projects Coordinator and PAG Leader-Western Region. She is very passionate, hard working with the Macedonian community and assisting our seniors in most need.
Nade currently runs Healthy Ageing Program and oversees the work of the PAG West and brokerages services in North and West regions of Metropolitan Melbourne.
The qualifications Nade holds is a degree Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality, Diploma of teaching, Certificate III in Home and Community Care and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
