On the 14th of April, ten members of the Macedonian Senior Group of Footscray had the opportunity to visit and tour Altona Meadows Aged Care Facility, as part of the CPP Community Partners Program. The ladies were greeted by the Manager of Facility Resources, Elizabeth King and the Manager of Nursing, Corie Silva and then, were taken for a tour of the facility during which they were provided with information about admission, resident lifestyle, facility activities, doctors on premises, meals, visiting hours, fee structure, etc. The ladies had the opportunity to......

Blaga Petreska, MCWA’s HACC Coordinator for the Northern Region, not only assists the Macedonian community during work hours, but has also, for the last 10 years, provided financial and practical support to children who are seriously ill and their families in the Republic of Macedonia through her leadership of the Women’s Humanitarian Association ‘Hope - Nadez’, of which she has been President for 6 years.
